It is rather difficult to tell a story without characters - but don’t worry, Because We’re Here’s got some. (That’s lucky!) Throughout her journey, Elfriede will encounter a diverse range of soldiers and civilians from amongst her lost generation… each with an important part to play in her tale.

Act I sees Elfriede come into contact with ten gentlemen, all from her home country of Wessling. In Act II, she begins to encounter foreign nationals, and her circle of acquaintances broadens…
